If you find yourself approaching a rather nice looking and handily positioned wooden seat on the downs just above Sompting Church in West Sussex, then you are probably going to sit down for a breather, a spot of lunch and to admire the stunning views.
That is if you can dislodge the resident seagull and the family of field-mice that have survived many winters on the scraps from travellers lunches!
